Complete with unhinged stamps placed on mounting page in the 3 fold folio album.
This mini album was an early offering of the USPS in which the collector purchased a complete set of the commemorative stamps issued during the year. This year set has a special mounting page within the 3-fold folio to display the stamps behind mylar thus eliminating the damage caused by hinges, predating later sets whereby individual mounts were included to maintain the stamps in mint unhinged condition. Note - as was the problem with these mounting pages, there is some separation of the glue line for the mylar protective strips and / or minor bending along the outer edges caused by the 3-fold folio.
Stamp issued in 1976 include; Spirit of '76 (strip/3), 1976 State Flag issue (1 example of 50), Clara Barton, Declaration of independence (strip /4), Commercial Aviation, Chemistry, Christmas Issues, etc. etc. for a total of 21 mint stamps.
This complete set is mint, with stamps placed on the mounting page. This year set comes with the original outer envelope.
