This folio album was one of the early offerings of the USPS in which the collector purchased a complete set of the commemorative stamps issued during the year. This year set is highly sought in a mint pristine condition. This year set is presented with a 3-fold folio, with a single mylar mounting page for displaying the stamps.
Stamp issued in 1978 include; Captain James Cook - (dual stamp issue), American Quilts (blk./4), American Dance (blk./4), Photography, George, Cohen, American Trees (blk./4), Christmas Issues, etc. etc. for a total of 28 mint stamps.
This complete set is mint, with stamps placed on mounting page. This year set comes with the original outer envelope.
